MINUTES OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
January 17,2017

Called to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Suffriti at 6:45pm in the auditorium of
the Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main Street, Agawam
AGENDA
1. Approval of minutes dated January 3,2017.
Motion for approval made by Councilor Rossi and seconded by Councilor Bitzas.
The vote was 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT approving the minutes.

2. TO-2017-1 - An Order granting or renewing a Class 2 Dealer's LICENSE to Paul J.
Lapointe d/b/a The Car Connection,820 Springfield Street,Feeding Hills, MA (Clerk)
Discussion of bond being corrected to show correct business name and everything else was in order.
Motion to approve made by Councilor Bitzas and seconded by Councilor Rossi.
' The vote was 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT sending a positive recommendation to the Full Council.
3. TO-2017-2 - An Order granting or renewing a PERMIT for Weekly Amusement for
OMS Hospitality Group d/b/a Chez Josef, 176 Shoemaker Lane, Agawam,MA. (Clerk)
Motion to approve made by Councilor Johnson and seconded by Councilor Bitzas. Everything was in
order.
The vote was 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT sending a positive recommendation to the Full Council.
4. TO-2017-3 - An Order granting or renewing a PERMIT for Weekly Amusement for
American Legion Post 185 Wilson-Thompson,478 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills,MA. (Clerk)
1 Motion to approve made by Councilor Johnson and seconded by Councilor Johnson. Everything was
in order.
The vote was 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT sending a positive recommendation to the Full Council.
4. TO-2017-4 - An Order granting or renewing a LICENSE for an Automatic
Amusement Device(s) for American Legion Post 185 Wilson-Thompson, 478 Springfield Street,
Feeding Hills,MA.
There was a discussion of the paperwork not being sent to the Council complete — the Building
Inspector and Police Department documents were not signed and that the games were not typical video
games. The Committee agreed that the Building Inspector and APD are stilled required to inspect and
verify such games and sign off on their paperwork. Because the Committee identified that these games

were not video gaming, the committee moved forward to vote on the application. Motion to approve
• made by Councilor Rossi and seconded by Councilor Johnson.
The vote was 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT sending a positive recommendation to the Full Council.
6. Any other business that may legally come before the committee.

7. Adjournment: Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Johnson and seconded by
Councilor Johnson with a 4 YES, 0 NO, 1 ABSENT. Meeting was adjourned at 6:50P.M.
