Called to Order: Meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Calabrese at 6:35 P.M.
1 in the Auditorium at the Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
' AGENDA
1. Approval of minutes dated August 28, 2017.
Motion to approve minutes moved and seconded with minutes approved by a 3 yes 0 no
and 2 absent vote.
2. TR-2017-51 - A Resolution accepting a FY2018 Traffic Enforcement Grant
in the amount of S10,000.00 from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security
(EOPPS) to the Town of Agawam Police Department(Sponsored by Mayor Cohen)
This is for the mobilization of Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over - December 2017 and the
•' mobilization of Click It or Ticket—May 2018 as well as the mobilization of Drive Sober
or Get Pulled Over — August 2018. The committee voted to send a positive
recommendation to the Full Council by a vote of 3 yes 0 no and 2 absent vote.
3. Any other business that may legally come before the Committee.

Called to Order: Meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Calabrese at 6:37 P.M. in the
' Auditorium at the Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main Street,Agawam, MA.
AGENDA
1. Approval of minutes dated September 18,2017.
Motion to approve minutes moved and seconded with minutes approved by a 4 yes 0 no and 1
absent vote.
2. TR-2017-52 - A Resolution accepting a grant in the amount of$12,000.00 from
the Agawam Dog Owners Group (ADOG) to the Town of Agawam for installation
of the Agawam Dog Park Lighting System (Sponsored by Mayor Cohen)
This is for installation of lighting at the Dog Park. There will be four LED lights set with a timer.
The committee voted to send a positive recommendation to the Full Council by a vote of 4 yes, 0
no, 1 absent(Councilor Theroux).
3. TR-2017-53 - A Resolution accepting a grant in the amount of$23,917.24 from
the Agawam Lions Club for the Perry Lane Playground Project (Sponsored by
Mayor Cohen)
' The Lion's Club called the Council Office to say they received an additional donation to make the
• amount $24,000.00. Councilor Bitzas asked to increase the amount. The committee voted to
send a positive recommendation to the Full Council by a vote of 4 yes, 0 no, 1 absent(Councilor
Theroux).
' 4. Any other business that may legally come before the Committee.
