Also Present: Mayor Sapelli, Laurel Placzek and Cheryl St. John
Called to Order: Meeting was called to order at 6:42pm by Vice Chair Mineo in the Community
Room at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper Street,Agawam
1. Approval of minutes dated June 4,2018
Motion to approve was moved and seconded.
The vote was 4 Yes,0 No, 1 Absent(Councilor Letellier) approving the minutes.
2. TR-2018-43 - A Resolution accepting a gift from the Pioneer Valley Transportation
Authority pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, Section 53A to the Agawam
Senior Center(Mayor Sapelli)
Motion to send a positive recommendation to the Full Council was moved by Councilor Mercadante and
seconded by Councilor Cavallo.
The vote was 4 Yes,0 No,1 Absent(Councilor Letellier)
' 3. TR-2018-45 - A Resolution accepting a grant ($18,500.00) from the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance pursuant to Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 44, Section 53A(Mayor Sapelli)
Motion to send a positive recommendation to the Full Council made by Councilor Mercadante and seconded
' by Councilor Cavallo.
The vote was 4 Yes,0 No,1 Absent(Councilor Letellier)
4. Any other business that may legally come before the Committee.
There is an item on the Agenda under New Business and needs to be voted upon prior to next Saturday.
There will be an Emergency Preamble and this money is coming from within the golf course itself. The hot
weather has kept the number of golfers low.
