' Called to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Theroux at 6:02pm in the Auditorium of the
Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main Street, Agawam.
AGENDA
1. Approval of Minutes dated August 7,2017
+, Motion to approve both the minutes made by Councilor Calabrese and seconded by Councilor Bitzas. The vote was
5 YES, 0 NO approving the minutes.
2. PH-2017-9 (ZC-2017-3) - Petition for Zone Change by Vitaliy Hrom for property located at 1178
Suffield Street, Agawam from Industrial to Residence B—Public Hearing date set for September 18,
2017
w� Motion to send a negative recommendation to the Full Council made by Councilor Suffriti and seconded by
Councilor Calabrese. The vote was 5 YES, 0 NO in favor of sending a negative recommendation.
3. PH-2017-10 (ZC-2017-4) - Petition for Zone Change by Halladay Farm Trust for property
located at 311 Shoemaker Lane from Agricultural to industrial B and Residential A-3 District -

Motion to send a negative recommendation to the Full Council made by Councilor Bitzas and seconded by
Councilor Calabrese. The vote was 5 YES, 0 NO in favor of sending a negative recommendation.
4. PH-2017-11 (TOR-2017-10) - An Ordinance to amend the Code of the Town of Agawam Zoning
ordinances to add solar energy systems (Sponsored by Councilors Cichetti,Mineo and Suffriti) (Two
Readings Required)—Public Hearing date set for September 18,2017
Motion to send a negative recommendation made by Councilor Bitzas and seconded by Councilor Calabrese. The
' vote was 4 YES, 1 No(Councilor Suffriti) in favor of sending a negative recommendation.
5. Any other business that may legally come before the Committee.

Motion to adjourn was moved by Councilor Suffriti and seconded by Councilor Bitzas. The meeting was adjourned
at 6:40pm.
