Called to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Magovem at 6:15pm in the Library at the
' Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main Street, Agawam.
AGENDA
' 1. Approval of Minutes dated August 6, 2018
Motion to approve the minutes was moved by Councilor Sandlin and seconded by Councilor Calabrese.
The vote was 5 YES, 0 NO approving the minutes.
2. TOR-2018-12- An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12 of the Code of the Town of Agawam
(Mayor Sapelli) (Two Readings Required)
The Agreement expires with Comeast soon (end of 2019 or early 2020). Need to beef up the use of the Cable
Commission. There was an oversight on policy of use of the studio. The goal is to have transparency and more
information with engaging content and integrate an HD Channel. We are now within the three year contract
renegotiation period. Agawam assesses 1 '/z% of the fee/user. This may be increased in the new contract.
Motion to send a positive recommendation to the Full Council made by Councilor Bitzas and seconded by
Councilor Rossi.
The vote was 5 YES, 0 NO.

Motion to adjourn was moved and seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 6:29pm.
