Councilor Calabrese—Thank you. Again happy New Year and I just thought
everybody have a kind thought for the passing of our President, President Ford and I
know there has been a lot of furrow and things going on and its been in the news. But it
• seems a little quieter now in affection on the passing of the President. I think its
appropriate and we could be ...
President Rheault—Thank you. Councilor Magovern.
Councilor Magovern—Again happy New Year everybody and I wanted to again
• take a moment to thank all of the councilors for their vote of confidence in supporting me
for vice president and I know I've had a few difference of opinion over the past year with
a few councilors but that's what mares this a strong council, it's the differences of
opinion that bring out another opinion that may not have been an opinion for either
councilor that really brings strength to the town. And 2007 I think is gonna be a great
• year for everybody and I wanted to make another call for the volunteers as we appointed
some of our volunteers this evening. The citizens don't have any understanding how
much work goes into making this town of Agawam the great town that it is and its not
because of the councilors sitting up here, its all the volunteers that are out there that come
before our work on the boards and commissions that we appoint and again thank you the
• volunteers but if you never got involved in the town you know please call the council or
call the mayor's office, volunteer because that what makes a great living in this town.
And again thanking for the privilege of serving and I also want to reiterate the
remembrance of President Ford. Thank you and God speed.
• President Rheault—I have just one quick comment. Each of you have received
committee assignments for the past year. If anyone wishes to change to a different
committee, be more than happy to entertain that thought and will take serious
consideration towards that. If not certainly by the first meeting of February we anticipate
the appointment of all committees. Again and thank you to our camera crew for a very
• devoted another year and the expert is right there and up above, so thank you very much
and wish you all happy New Year and good evening.

everybody have a kind thought for the passing of our President, President Ford and I

seems a little Quieter now in affection on the passing of the President. I think its
appropriate and we could be ...
President Rheault—Thank you. Councilor Magovern.
Councilor Magovern--Again happy New Year everybody and I wanted to again
• take a moment to thank all of the councilors for their vote of confidence in supporting me
for vice president and I know I've had a few difference of opinion over the past year with
a few councilors but that's what makes this a strong council, it's the differences of
opinion that bring out another opinion that may not have been an opinion for either
councilor that really brings strength to the town.

' President Rheault—Thank you very much. Councilor Calabrese.
Councilor Calabrese—Thank you. Again happy New Year and I just thought
everybody have a kind thought for the passing of our President, President Ford and I
know there has been a lot of furrow and things going on and its been in the news. But it
seems a little quieter now in affection on the passing of the President. I think its
appropriate and we could be ...
President Rheault—Thank you. Councilor Magovern.
Councilor Magovern—Again happy New Year everybody and I wanted to again
• take a moment to thank all of the councilors for their vote of confidence in supporting me
for vice president and I know I've had a few difference of opinion over the past year with
a few councilors but that's what makes this a strong council, it's the differences of
opinion that bring out another opinion that may not have been an opinion for either
councilor that really brings strength to the town. And 2007 I think is gonna be a great
# year for everybody and I wanted to make another call for the volunteers as we appointed
some of our volunteers this evening.
President Rheault—I have just one quick comment. Each of you have received
committee assignments for the past year. If anyone wishes to change to a different
committee, be more than happy to entertain that thought and will take serious
consideration towards that. If not certainly by the first meeting of February we anticipate
the appointment of all committees. Again and thank you to our camera crew for a very
devoted another year and the expert is right there and up above, so thank you very much
• and wish you all happy New Year and good evening.
