The Agawam Town Council approved this Resolution by a vote of 13 to 1 and Jqr hereby requests that you file the attached Resolution to be inacted by the legislature forthwith immediately. Sincerely, Ursula Retzler Clerk of the Council cc: Council President Council Clerk File Council Members Town Manager i r R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N Be it Enacted and Resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Agawam as .follows : Section 1 : Notwithstanding the provisions of Section One Hundred and Forty-Seven of Chapter One Hundred and Forty of the General Laws or any other provision of law to the contrary, all money received for licenses or from the sale of dog licenses by the Town of Agawam, or recovered as fines or penalties by said town M under the provisions of said Chapter One Hundred and Forty relating to dogs, shall be paid into the Treasury of said town and shall not thereafter be paid over to Hampden County, M Section 2: Notwithstanding the provisions of Section One Hundred and Thirty Seven of said Chapter One Hundred and Forty or any other provision of law to the contrary, the registering, numbering, describing and licensing of dogs , if kept in said town, shall be conducted in the office of the town clerk of said town.
