001 _ RESOLUTION TR-87-7 . 02 A Resolution Adoptinq an order of Public Notice for the 003 Pending Assessment of a Portion of the Cost of the 004 Phase IV Sewer Project to the Abutting Propertv Owners 005 WHEREAS, The Phase IV Sewer Project is necessary for the ' 006 public health of the residents of northwestern Agawam; and. 007 WHEREAS, The residents of the Phase IV Project area have 008 petitioned the Town Council for the installation of sanitary 009 sewers, and, 010 WHEREAS, The Town Council has appropriated a sum of $3,520,000 oil for the design and construction of the Phase IV Sewer Project: 012 NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AGAWAM hereby 013 votes to adopt the followinq order: 014 ORDERED, That, it being necessary for public convenience and 015 public health, sanitary sewers be constructed within the Phase IV .016 Sewer Improvement Area, as shown on a map consisting of two sheets 0I7 entitled: 018 TOWN OF AGAWAM 019 MASSACHUSEITS 020 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS 121 PHASE IV SEWER 022 IMPROVEMENT AREA 023 Scale. 1" = 1000' March 1987 024 That a set of detailed construction drawings consisting of forty four 025 (44) sheets with scale as shown, which plans are incorporated herein by 026 reference and are on file in the Office of the Department of Public 027 Works, Agawam, Massachusetts; 028 That said sanitary sewers be constructed of the materials or similar 121 . materials of ecaual Quality and in the manner as shown on the above 030 mentioned plans: 031 That the Superintendent of Public Works is hereby directed to proceed 032 with the construction of sanitary sewers in the following streets: 033 North Westfield Street Ridge View Drive 034 Park Edqe Drive Southwick Street 035 Marlene Drive Charter Oak Lane 036 Peterson Circle Kimberly Circle 037 North West Street Michael Street' s 038 Provin Mountain Drive Tina Lane r 9 That within thirty (30) days after the adoption of this order, the 040 Town Clerk is hereby ordered to certify, and record a copy hereof 041 together with the aforementioned map in the Hampden County Registry 042 of Deeds; 043 That a proportionated part of the cost of constructing the sanitary 044 sewer be assessed upon abutters pursuant to and by virtue of the 045 Ordinances of the Town of Agawam; 046 That the estimated assessment on each individual dwellinq or business 047 unit is eleven hundred and three ($1,103) dollars, 048 DATED THIS Twat DAY OF May 1987. 049 Donald M.
