A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. GEOFFREY MACDONALD AS MEMBER
OF PLANNING BOARD TO A TERM EXPIRING JANUARY 1, 1995
WHEREAS , a vacancy will exist on the Agawam Planning Board January 1 , 1990
for replacement of Gary P. Shannon;
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Mr. Geoffrey MacDonald, 7 Colony Lane,
Agawam to serve on said board;
' WHEREAS, the Mayor is requesting early confirmation of said appointment to
allow Mr. MacDonald adequate time to become familiar with various items of
agenda;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agawam Council resolves confirmation of the Mayor's
appointment of Mr. Geoffrey MacDonald as a member of the Planning Board to
a term expiring January 1 , 1995 .

tonight's agenda. 1.
Councilor Fieldstad - So moved; seconded by Councilor Caba.
President Rheault - Moved by Councilor Fielstad, seconded by Councilor Caba to place
it at the end of the agenda, all those in favor?

President Rheault - That's correct, according to the figures I received,
Councilor DeForge - So, should not that item be amended?
Councilor Fieldstad - So moved .
Councilor DeForge - Unless somebody can give me an explanation.
' President Rheault - I don't know how we got that figure reached..
Councilor DeForge - I think that was last year's.
