A Resolution Supporting and Approving Special Legislation
Granting Certain City Employees Permanent Civil Service Status And
Setting Seniority Dates Accordingly

WHEREAS , There are several city employees which through no fault of their own
�lave not acquired civil service status for their respective civil service
ositions with the Department of Personnel Administration, Boston, MA; and
HFREAS , It is necessary that the state legislators have the support of the
ouncil of the City of Agawam , Massachusetts prior to enacting special
egi.slation to grant certain city employees permanent civil service status and
set their seniority dates accordingly ; and

IOW THEREFORE, The Council of the City of Agawam does hereby vote to approve
,and support a special Legislation which shall grant certain city employees
ermanent civil service status in their current positions and to set seniority A
ates accordingly .
