TR-90-52 ' TR-90- 52 RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A BANKING/FINANCE/INVESTMENT ' CURRICULUM IN THE AGAW+ SCHOOL SYSTEM WHEREAS , the banking and financial industry, through its services and products permeate our daily life , and WHEREAS , this industry profoundly affects the housing, health, financial security and educational opportunities of all the citizens of Agawam , and ' WHEREAS, it is clear that manv of our citizens Mould have benefitted from greater understanding and knowledge of the industry products and services , and WHEREAS , the local banking and financial industry is fully ready to ' provide the necessary means to educate our children about its services and products , and WHEREAS, our children would clearly gain , with this education , a necessary step in their growth to being adults . ' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Agawam supports the Agawam School Committee in its implementation of a curriculum that educates our children toward understanding and responsibly managing their finances and fiscal future.
