A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE EFFORTS OF THE AGAWAM JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS
TO HELP THE OPEN PANTRY

WHEREAS , the Girl Scouts of America engage in a variety of
service projects; and
' WHEREAS, nine aifferent troops of the Agawam Junior Girl Scouts,
comprised of young ladies in grades 4 , 6 , and 6 , will participate in a
local service project ; and
WHEREAS, this service project is designed to collect goods and
food for The Ooen Pantry of West Apr ngf i e 1 d ; and
' WHEREAS , on the weeKend of November 9th and 10th the Agawam
Junior Girl Scouts will canvass Agawam and Feeding Hills door-to-door
to collect these donations; and
WHEREAS , this project will benefit the hungry and needy in our
community and in neighboring communities;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agawam Town Council hereby resolves to
support the efforts of the Agawam Junior Girl Scouts to help the less
fortunate in our society.
