C0 L� ' Whereas , increased traffic volumes on Springfield Street , C e Mill Street , Poplar Street , and Suffield Street have necessitated :J improvements in the geometries of the intersection of these ' streets and; Whereas, the principal purpose of these improvements is the ' safe and efficient utilization of the streets for traffic purposes and; ' Whereas , certain traffic rules and regulations are required to insure proper and efficient traffic movements ; Now, Therefore , Be it Resolved by The Town Council of the ' Town of Agawam in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 85 , Section 2 of the General Laws ; that the Traffic Rules and Orders of the Town of Agawam, adopted by the Board of Selectmen on ' May 7 , 1937 , and subsequent amendments thereto be further amended as follows : Article V Park3n Section 2 . Prohibited on Certain Streets ' Upon the following streets or highway or parts thereof parking is hereby prohibited: ' Add: Poplar Street: Both sides from Mil? Street 100 feet northerly. Mill Street: Both sides from Suffield Street easterly and westerly distances of 200 feet. Suffield Street: Both sides from the intersection of ' Gunn Geary Lane northerly to a point 400 feet north of Mill Street. ' Article V A One Way Street Section 1. The following streets or portions thereof are declared ' to be one-way streets and all vehicular traffic shall move on those streets or portions thereof in the direction designated. Add: ' Springfield Street : The northerly lane fx-om 50 feet west of the westerly end of the landscaped island at Mill Street to a point easterly 140 feet shall ' only be traveled on in a westerly direction. Article VT Operator of Vehicle Section 15., Left Lane Must Turn Left No person having charge or control of any vehicle shall cause or permit same to be turned to the right or travel straight through lane of the following streets ; t Add: ' Springfield Street: Eastbound traffic approaching Mill Street onto northbound Springfield Street. Mill Street: Eastbound traffic onto northbound Poplar Street . ' Suffield Street: Northbound traffic onto westbound Mill Street. ' Suffield Street: Southbound traffic onto eastbound Mill Street. ' Article VI Operator of Vehicle Add: ' Section 16 , Do Not Enter No person having charge or control of any vehicle shall cause or permit the same to enter the following streets or driveways: Springfield Street : Eastbound traffic at the westerly ' end of the landscaped island at Mill Street onto the north lane of Springfield Street. Suffield Street: Northbound traffic north of the intersection of Mill Street onto the driveway serving the property ' located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Mill and Suffield Streets. Section 17 , Yield Right of Way ' Persons having charge of or control of any vehicle Yield the right of way at the following locations: ' Springfield Street: Westbound traffic in the north lane at the westerly end of the landscaped island must yield to ' westbound traffic from Mill Street. Section 18 No Turns Persons having charge or control of any vehicle shall not turn at the following locations and in the follow- ing direction: Mill Street: Westbound vehicles at the west 1 end of landscaped traffic island onto the northerly lane of Springfield Street.
