A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL
' DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE EXERCISE OF THE TOWN'S FIRST
REFUSAL OPTION UNDER MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS, CHAPTER 61A,
SECTION 14 , WITH REGARD TO THE PROPERTY OWNED BY TUCKAHOE
TURF FARM, INC. AND LAKEVILLE LAND INVESTMENT COMPANY,
' KNOWN AS "TUCKAHOE TURF FARM", LOCATED ALONG PINE STREET
AND SOUTH WEST STREET, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 292 ACRES,
IDENTIFIED AS PARCELS D5--1-1 AND C7-2--4, AND FURTHER,
DESCRIBED IN TWO DEEDS RECORDED
WITH HAMPDEN COUNTY REGISTRY OF DEEDS BOOK 5574, PAGE 220; AND
BOOK 5364, PAGE 135, FEEDING HILLS/AGAWAM, HAMPDEN COUNTY,
' MASSACHUSETTS
WHEREAS, the Town of Agawam has received notifica-
tion on February 16, 1993 by letter dated February 11, 1993 c�
from Tuckahoe Turf Farm, Inc. and Lakeville Land Investment 3
Company pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General
Laws, Chapter 61A, Section 14 of their receipt of a bona fide � P F
offer to purchase said land and the change of use of the r�
' property known as "Tuckahoe Turf Farm" , located along Pine :
Street and South West Street, containing approximately 292
acres, identified as Parcels D5-1-1 and C7-2-4, and further =-
described in two deeds recorded with Hampden County Registry
of Deeds Book 5574, Page 220; and Book 5364 , Page 135, Feeding _-
Hills/Agawam, Hampden County, Massachusetts; and
' WHEREAS, the Town of Agawam has a first refusal
option to meet said bona fide offer to purchase under the
provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 61A, Section
14; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Town of Agawam to
exercise its first refusal option within one hundred and
' twenty (120) days from the date of receipt of said notifica-
tion; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Agawam Town Council hereby
resolves to authorize the Mayor to execute any and all
documents to exercise the Town's first refusal option under

Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 61A, Section 14 and to
acquire the land and property known as Tuckahoe Turf Farm,
located along Pine Street and South West Street, containing
approximately 292 acres, identified as Parcels D5-1-1 and C7-
' 2-4, and further described in two deeds recorded with Hampden
County Registry of Deeds Book 5574, Page 220; and Book 5364,
Page 135, Feeding Hills/Agawam, Hampden County, Massachusetts
' from Tuckahoe Turf Farm, Inc. and Lakeville Land Investment
Company.
