Briefly, my military background consisted of serving in the Air Force in various assignments from 1970 to 1994. The first 12 years were on active duty and the remaining years as a Mobilization Augmentee, reservist at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, D.C. I have been involved with the Veterans'council for over 10 years in one capacity or another—the first few years as a nonmember participant. I am proud of our town and its sincere support and recognition of our veterans. I look forward to serving on the council another term.
