A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
ANOHONY TASSONE, 1242 MAIN STREET,AGAWAM, MA
TO THE AGAWAM HOUSING COMMITTEE TO A TERM EXPIRING
OCTOBER 1,2017
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Agawam Housing Committee; and
WHEREAS,the Mayor has appointed Anthony Tassone,1242 Main Street,Agawam,MA
to the Agawam Housing Committee to a term expiring on October 1,2017; and
NOW THEREFORE, THE AGAWAM TOWN COUNCIL hereby resolves to confirm the
appointment of Anthony Tassone, 1242 Main Street, Agawam, MA to the Agawam Housing
Committee to a term expiring October 1,2017.

Dear Sir,
It has recently been brought to my attention that the Town of Agawam is establishing a
housing committee to consider the housing needs in Agawam. As a lifelong resident and
home owner in Agawam, I am very interested in the town's housing opportunities,
housing market stability and equal housing opportunities for residents and future
residents of Agawam. I would very much like to be considered for the new housing
committee as a way to give back to the community and help make Agawam an even
better place to live and grow a family.
I have worked in the financial services industry for the past 17 years as a Financial
Advisor and Financial Planner for individual,business and non-profit clients. I am
currently employed as a Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC in
Springfield, MA. I feel that my strong financial background in dealing with individual
and corporate finances and investments, residential and commercial mortgages and
lending and estate planning is suitable for the housing committee and can be value added
to the committee's agendas.
I have lived in Agawam for 34 years and currently reside at 1242 Main Street with my
wife Maria and two children. I am a member of the West of the River Chamber of
Commerce and serve on several corporate and non-profit boards.
Please consider me for the new Agawam Housing Committee.
