" We have the following comments 1.) The following notes should be included on the plans: A. " Prior to any installation of any sewer, water or drainage lines, the contractor/owner shall contact the Town of Agawam's Engineering Division, 786-0400 x 275/284. No piping/appurtenances will be installed or backfilled without the permission of the division. " B. "All plantings must be maintained and that portion of the public way abutting the parcel and including the treebelt shall be maintained in a safe and attractive condition by the owner of the parcel. The proposed radii will have to be labeled. 7.) It is not obvious if the planting and ramp are existing or proposed, please add labels. 8.) If there is to be a proposed dumpster, it should be shown on the plans with a screening fence. 9.) A survey plan should be referenced for this site plan. 10.) We suggest that the applicant consider making the proposed sidewalk 6' wide to accomodate a potential 2' bumper overhang from the parked vehicles and still provide a 4' wide unobstructed walk way. 11.) The sanitary sewer in Shoemaker Lane is shown to be connected to the storm drain, this should be corrected. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this division.
