The proposed project involves the construction of a 550 foot long, 35 foot
wide, public roadway includig drainage facilities, rater rain, sanitary settlers
and utilities to allot,, in0strial development of a 7.0 acre tract, As par- of
the project two 10,000 sn-uare foot industrial adidings will be constructed using
private sector funds, totaling $500,000. the roadway will be financed with a
$200,000 CUAG grant. Ultimately there may be four additional buildings ca.nstrzcted
on the site.
The project is located on the crest side of Suffield .Street (Route 75)
approximately 1700 feet south of Silver Street. The site has a frontage of
489 feet on Suffield Street and a death of 974 feet and is triangular in shape.
Spartan Saw abuts the site on the south side and Professional design abuts on
the north side.
Presently the project site is unused vacant land ;,pith ro structures. It

encourage economic development. Agawam's main objective in recent years
has been to Onrove its iafrastructure to support and attract industrial
development. In 1973 it constructed,grit.. state and federal assistance,
a major trunk sewer to serge directly and indirectly some 900 acres of

wide, public roadway including drainage facilities, .rater main, sanitary sewers
and utilities to allow industrial development of a 7.4 acre tract. As D'art of
the project two 10,000 sr-uare foot industrial buildings will be constructed using
private sector ftLnds, totaling $500,000. the roadway will be financed with. a
S2001000 CDAG grant, Ultimately there may be four additional buildings co nst:.tcted
on the site.
The project is located on the west, side of Suffield Street (F.oute 75)
approximately 1700 feet south of Silver atreet. The site has a frontage ,of
489 feet on Suffield Street and a depth of 974 feet and is triangular in shape.

encourage economic development. Agawam's main objective in recent years
has been to improve its Lafrastructure to support and attract industrial
development. In 1973 it constrictedgwitn state and federal asoi3tance,
a major trunk serer to serve directly and indirectly some 0,00 acres of
industrial zoned land. In 1r-80, major .cater system improvements in the

Suffield Streets by the site of the proposed Agawam Progressive Industrial
Park. 'The Mass Department of Public Works has approved tads project for
construction funding under the Urban Systems Program.
