I can see no harm to the Safety of the public in granting this zone
change at Walnut and River St. from Industrial to A-3. As long as something
is done on the cruve where Walnut St. atdrRiver Street come to *ether.'
Where the existing entrance to that property is now it is- in a bad place,
The Zone change on Valley Brook Read and Provin Mountain Drive from
Agricultural to Residence A--2 I can see no harm to the Safety of the
public.
On the Dairy Mart Sete plans for Suffield and Rowley Streets I am in
agreement with the Planning Board the Southerly opening an Suffield
Street, should be closed to all traffic.

The undersigned respectfully petitions tha. the Agawam, Zoning Ordinance be
amended in the following respects:
1. Sec, 20-2. Definitions be amended by adding thereto the following:
Definitions: Amusement Park. A parcel of land containing a minimum of thirty (30)

acres in area havin,r- permanent and temporary arnuserneri_ rides , structures and devices
located thereon.

Sec, 20-46 . height regulations be amender to read as follows:

A business building shall not be erected or altered to a height in excess of
three (3) stories or more t1ian forty-five (45) feet. These provisions shall not apply

to amusement ride structures located in an amusement park, chimneys, flag or radio
poles , eater tanks , hose towers or required bulkheads or elevator penthouses. A

residence building shall comply ,vith the height provisions for Residence B Districts.
Heigns of other buildings or structures permitted in paragraph (a) of Section 20-45
shall not exceed the heights permitted in Residence B Districts.
