We note the following: Engineering spoke with Mark Reed of Heritage Surveys, Inc. on 5/5/10 regarding the subject site. Mark said that all items referenced in our email to Heritage on 5/3/10 have been or are in the process of being revised on the plans for the Planning Board's meeting on 516110. This was evidenced through reviewing the revised plans Heritage sent to Engineering on 515/10. The only item that was not shown on these revised plans was the back flow preventer on the outlet side of proposed DMH 2. Mark said that as per Engineering's request, the backflow preventer will be added to the final plans for the Board's meeting on 516/10. The only other item of concern is the requested easements for the Town. It is unknown if this documentation will be ready for the Board's meeting on 516110, But Mark assured Engineering the documentation would be forthcoming. Attached is the 5/5/10 email from Heritage to Engineering. We recommend approval of these plans if the referenced backflow preventer has been added to the most recent set of revised plans. Also, the print out of the calculations show that for the 100 year storm, the pond's peak flood elevation is only 0.01 feet above the boltom of the pond? This does not seem accurate.
