We have a small project for Six Flags that I'd like to talk to you about. It
is a small addition to the Finance Office at the park. It is not used by
Patronsr and is located in a private area where they cannot see it.
Weld like to get the permitting going, and am not sure if this is a small
enough project where a Team meeting would be warranted. I am anticipating that
we will need to appear at the Planning Board, but would like to confirm that
as well.

review and use the following information as required by municipal regulation:

This application requests permission from the Town of Agawam to construct an addition to an
existing building known as the Finance Building. The addition is planned at 13'-9" x 40' -0", and will
attach directly to the side of the existing building. The narrative included with the application
provides additional information relative to the project.

Description of Proposed Project in connection with
Application for Site Plan Approval
Finance Building Addition
Six Flags New England is submitting an Application to the Town of Agawam for Site Plan Approval issued
by the Agawam Planning Board. The Applicant is requesting permission to construct a building addition to
an existing building within the center of the park, known as the Finance Building.
The Finance Building is located inner-park, and is inaccessible to Park Patrons. The location is referenced on
the Site Plan accompanying this addition. The addition is planned at 13'-9" wide by 40' -0" long, and is
located adjacent to the existing building. Preliminary, reduced scale building plans are provided with this
application, and the building is planning to use concrete piers for foundation support. All utilities needed to
support the addition will be obtained tram extensions of utilities serving the existing building, and will
include electrical and telephone at this time.
This project is located outside of any resource areas under the jurisdiction ofthe Wetlands Protection Act, and
does not require action by the Conservation Commission. Additionally, Six Flags is not seeking relief of any
kind from the zoning ordinance, so an action by the Zoning Board of Appeals is also not needed. It is our
understanding that the only approval required for this project of a public forum will be tram the Planning
Board.
Because ofthe relatively smaJl nature of this application, the Town detennined that this project did not
require a review by the Agawam Department Heads at a Team Meeting.
