At its duly called meeting held on January 19,2012, the Agawam Planning Board voted
to approve the Site Plan entitled "Restrooms and Storage, Borgatti Field, 207 River Road,
Agawam, MA:" prepared by the Town of Agawam Engineering Division and dated
2/2312011 with the following conditions:
• there shall be adequate handicapped access from the parking lot to the
building (ADA compliant apron and sidewalk);
• if in the future a dumpster is needed, it shall be screened and gated;
• all lights shall be shielded (pole light and gable end of building);
• a security light shall be installed on the pole adjacent to the proposed building;
• security gates shall be placed on the doors; and
• the building shall be painted an attractive color and the Board shall be notified
of the color once chosen.

I'm just bringing this up because the neighbors may object to an increase in the number of, and
attendance for, softball tournaments and the possible negative impacts that may have. I'm not
aware of any complaints that may have been made in the past, but it's something to consider.

The parking guidelines suggest the following: One (1) parking space for each two (2) employees, plus
such additional facilities as the Planning Board shall reasonably deem necessary. This obviously leaves
the number up to interpretation.

I. Since there will not be a significant increase in impervious area, stormwater calculations are not·
required.
2. The building and restrooms must be handicap accessible and meet ADA and AAB standards.
3. Silt fence shall be installed as necessary prior to beginning construction and remain in place until all
disturbed areas have sufficient vegetation to prevent erosion.
