American Hotdog: The American Hotdog is an existing bot-dog vending stand located within the southern portion of the amusement park.Six Flags New England is requesting permission to expand the existing building by adding-a 22'x 18'addition on the north side of the existing building. This addition will house additional food preparation equipment The area planned for this addition is currently pavement, and wi I I require saw-cutting and excavation in order to construct footing and foundation walls for the addition. The equipment will connect to existing utilities already present in the existing building, and will utilize the existing grease trap currently installed. At completion of construction, the area will be stabilized by replacement of removed pavement, Gazebo Relocation: The existing area is currently home to an elliptical shaped gazebo, approximate size 18' x 12',This gazebo houses a"weight machine"(scale)which guests can step onto. Six Flags New England is requesting permission to relocate this gazebo to a new location located approximately 200-feet north of its current position. The gazebo is a self-supporting structure, and does not require foundations for support. At its new location, the gazebo will sit atop the existing pavement, similar to how it is currently supported. The only utility connection needed for this relocation is a I I 0-volt electrical connection for the weight machine power source. In this proposed area,an electrical supply in the immediate area will be extended to the gazebo receptacle, No other disturbances or utility connections are proposed or required. "Arcade Game Building" The final project proposed under this application is the installation of a new arcade-type game in the vicinity of where the gazebo was located. This structure is approximately 18' x 30' in size, and will house various arcade type attractions for use by park quests. This structure will require pier-type foundation support, which will limit the amount of disturbance required for this project. The structure will only require an electrical connection to support the building, which is currently existing and formerly utilized for the gazebo building, Upon completion of construction, the area will be stabilized by replacement of removed pavement, All of the work specified above is located outside of resource areas and resource area boundaries as regulated by the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act. There is no impact to stormwater runoff for the construction of these three projects, All of the individual work areas are currently impeMous and covered with bituminous pavement. The construction of buildings over these paved areas results in an equal generation of stormwater runoff. No impact or increase to the rate of stormwater runoffin projected. We respectfully request review of the attached application by the Agawam Planning Board and seek approval for the construction of these three alteration projects to allow for completion prior to the start ofthe operating season. 0 tA* ro e' c a.
