Hood, Inc. to construct a 12,500 square foot refrigerated warehouse addition to their existing facility at 233 Main Street in Agawam, MA. The proposed addition meets the zoning regulations for building in Industrial District A. The addition will not change the street access, traffic flow or utilities to H.P. Hood's existing facility. Furthermore, the drainage will be improved since the run off will be from a building roof as opposed to the run off from the existing pavement. According to H.P. Hood the addition will not increase the current number of employees or employee parking: H.P. Hood has indicated that the new addition should eliminate approximately a dozen trailers,currently parked on the property. At this time,,CMC and H.P. Hood have been included on the.Planning Board's Agenda for the March 7, 2002 meeting.
