Sweeping Moylan Lane, Agawam Drainage Synopsis **************** In the original drainage design for lots on Moylan Lane,a coverage factor of 25% impervious was calculated for each lot, and included in that detention system. Because this development increases the coverage of Lot#4 to 39%a detention facility was designed to accommodate the difference. The TR-55 calculations for the Pre development includes the 25%factor and for the Post development the 39% factor. The difference was used for detention sizing. The outflow pipe was designed using the difference of the existing condition minus the by-pass flows vs. the inflow,which takes in most of the impervious surfaces, including the roof.
