At its duly called meeting held on June 20,2002,the Agawam Planning Board voted to approve
the Site Plan entitled "Parking and Drive Detail by R.W. Hall Engineers,6-14-02",Perimeter
Survey, 184 Main Street, Agawam, MA prepared by Thomas Wilson &Associates, dated
3/24/00 with the following conditions:
-- the visual barrier along the abutting residential property is to be maintained;
-- the following note is to be added to the plan: "All plantings must be maintained and that
portion of the public way abutting the parcel and including the treebelt shall be
maintained in a safe and attractive condition by the owner of the parcel."
-- the Engineering Department memo dated June 19, 2002 (attached) shall be adhere to.
Three sets of the revised plan are to be submitted to the Board for their signatures. If you have

Peryour request dated June 170'.2002,we have reviewed the site plan titled"New Parking and Drive
Detail," 184 Main Street, Agawam, MA; prepared by R.W. Hall Engineers, dated 6-14-02, and have the
following comments:
Since the request for review and comment was received two days prior to the board's meeting on
June 20', 2002, engineering does not have sufficient time to complete a thorough review of the site plan.
We have examined the proposal for paving and found that the only possible discharge of stormwater runoff
towards Federal Street was from approximately 114 acre of paving. The runoff puddles near the western
edge of the property near Vassos's property and will not affect Federal Street. As long as the applicant can
assure the Town of Agawam that he will if necessary prevent the runoff from flooding onto Vassos's
property,we will approve the surface drainage.
