At this time this department will not give an approval on the addition to Country Estates until some type of apparatus, such as bar racks, are installed in the discussed sewer manhole to keep debris, typical from nursing homes out of the public sewer. Three letters were sent to Country Estates. This was also mentioned in the memorandum that we sent to the Conservation Commission for this particular project. This is per order of the Department of Public Works superintendent. 2.) In regards to the expansion of the parking lot, the seven new spaces should have dimensions, the length and width of each stall. There should be proposed spot grades or contours in this area as well. The radii should be labeled where the new spaces are proposed. The isle width between the new spaces and the existing spaces is approximately 21 feet, this is adequate for compact size cars. There should be a sign stating, " compact cars only " for the seven proposed spaces. The location of the sign should be shown on the plan. 3.) Three should be a sediment barrier around the temporary topsoil stock. pile. This can replace the check dam and stilling basin. 4.) The proposed emergency egress walls should have the following shown: concrete and gravel base thickness. A handicap ramp should be added to the plan where the proposed egress wall,, meets the existing parking lot (the northeast corner of the parking lot). A detail of the handicap ramp should be added to the plan as well. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this division. Sincerely, roww es T.
