File From: Engineering Date: June 19, 2003 - Subject: Form-A - #223 - Main Street - Darbe Per your request dated June 16, 2003, we have reviewed the plan entitled, "John Cleveland - Town of Agawam - Plan of Property, Hampden County, Massachusetts; Prepared by Hatch Mott MacDonald, 8 Goffe Street, Hadley, MA; Scale 1"=20'; Dated 5/13/03", and we have the following comments: 1.) The plan shows different bearings for the three property lines along the Main Street(Rt. 159). These bearings should correspond to the. State layout of the Route 159. It is advised that MassHighway be contacted for this information. The 10.40 foot property line may alter the existing Main Street layout. 2.) The former North West corner of the Hancock property calls for an iron rod to be set. Perhaps this was mislabeled and should be labeled as "IR Found" since a pin will no longer be needed at that location. 3.) The Engineering Division has located a plan stamped by a Registered Land Surveyor for Walter Way that has conflicting bearings and distances for some of the lot lines in this Form A.
