Stone, Superintendent of Public Works Flom: Engineering Division Date: May 19, 1999 Subject: Site Plan - SIS Bank - 40 Springfield Street - SP-333 Per your request of May 17, 1999 we have reviewed the above mentioned site plan entitled "Renovations and Additions to: SIS Bank, 40 Springfield Street, Agawam, Massachusetts" by Kenyon & Cutler Architects, dated May 11, 1999 and we have the following comments: 1. A Storm Drain Permit will be required because the parcel is greater than 1 acre and additional impervious area is proposed. Drainage calculations, stamped by a Professional Engineer registered in Massachusetts must be submitted and the site plan must show existing and proposed contours, drainage pipes, and drainage structures. If the applicant chooses to remove an area of pavement equal to the size of the proposed addition and replace it with grass or landscaping, new storm drain facilities will not be required. 2. If any additional utility lines are proposed, they must be shown on the plan. 3. We have not received any renderings or elevations of the proposed addition. 4. We do not require any additional parking spaces. 5. The layout of the proposed relocated plant material should be shown. 6. The applicant will have to file a Notice of Intent because the proposed addition is within the riverfront area. Also, the river on the plan is incorrectly labeled.
