8124_SITE PLAN - EBTEC, INC. - SHOEMAKER LANE 5l`cem.r Lane TOWN OF AGAWAM • tip, INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM y s Rgrf 6 MA To: Building Dept. CC: Planning, File From: Engineering Date: November 27, 2001 Subject: SP 364 - Ebtec Corporation - 120 Shoemaker Lane Per your request, a follow up visit to the subject site was performed today. The following items are noted: 1. Vegetation within the detention pond has been established in most areas. There are.some locations though where it has not (primarily along the eastern bank). Also there is evidence of erosion along the northern and western banks. Because of the time of year now (late Autumn), it is suggested that all these embankments be re-raked, re-seeded, and then covered with jute netting. This procedure should help to prevent further erosion and also help the grass become established in the springtime. 2. The outside storage trailers that exist at the rear of the building have not been removed as per memo by Planning to Ebtec Inc. dated August 21, 2000. Once removed, the storm water detention area beneath these trailers is to be cleaned of all debris. 3. There is siltation occurring (caused by adjoining bank erosion) in the drainage Swale that leads to the storm water detention area mentioned in item #2 above. This embankment must be given the same treatment as defined in item #1 above. The swale should then be cleared of.all silt, raked, seeded, and covered with jute netting (as described in item #1 above) or-else the surface of this swale should be covered with stone to allow for proper drainage and to prevent further erosion. 4. All other related items were previously addressed in our memo to Building and Planning dated August 2, 2001. Respectfully, Rick S. Seidnitzer P14 ;: ames•T.'Daley, P.E.
