Dear Mr. Suffriti:
It has come to the Department of Public Works attention that the 9 lots which were created
through the Form A process with the Planning Board will require a Storm Drainage Permit from
the DPW. Please make a submittal prepared by an engineer which proposes drainage control
measures which will attenuate peak flows through out this site to the maximum extent
practicable. These measures should minimize runoff to the street and attenuate peak flows in the
back yards and from the proposed parking area in lot 1. The existing soil conditions may be
such that infiltration of roof leaders is a possibility for reducing the amount of runoff leaving the
site.
Lot 1's site plan approval included a comment by the Planning Board requesting a paved parking
area which should be sized appropriately once the use of the site is determined. As a result, once
the use of the site is known, you must submit information on the commercial use so that the
number of parking spaces may be reviewed. The proposal described above should include this
lot and the paved parking area.
