Delete Section 159-31 C which now reads:
"A buffer strip not to exceed thirty (30) feet may be required when warranted by drainage or
other local conditions. A buffer strip shall be-considered part of the lot on which it is located but
shall be protected through a permanent restrictive covenant. The covenant shall be recorded
with the definitive plan and proof of recording shall be submitted to the Planning Board. The
covenant shall read: This lot contains a permanently protected buffer strip. Not cutting of trees,
clearing of brush, digging, filling in with soil or other debris or construction of buildings or other
structures shall be allowed in the buffer strip."

159-31. C (buffers) from the Subdivision Rules and Regulations. The Board would like
to meet with you to draft a zoning amendment which would address buffers. Please
contact the Planning Office to arrange a meeting the week of November 8".

"Buffers"
Section 159-31 C which now reads:
"A buffer strip not to exceed thirty (30) feet may be required when warranted by drainage or
other local conditions. A buffer strip shall be considered part of the lot on which it is located but
shall be protected through a permanent restrictive covenant. The covenant shall be recorded
with the definitive plan and proof of recording shall be submitted to the Planning Board. The
covenant shall read: This lot contains a permanently protected buffer strip. Not cutting of trees,
clearing of brush, digging, filling in with soil or other debris or construction of buildings or other
structures shall be allowed in the buffer strip."
